This is something you have to do!
Especially those of you who care for the intake of sweets and what you’re constantly eating (or missing). Preparation is as simple as it can be and the ingredients are great allies in the “fit body battle”. This is definitely a better and cheaper solution than purchasing store energy bars.
The original recipe is with almonds, dates and raisins. The first two ingredients are basic, but you can add some other dried fruit. Also, in this mix you can add cinnamon, cocoa, and pieces of dark chocolate or coconut.
Here’s everything you need to know about the ingredients:
Almonds – not only that they lower your cholesterol, but they’re also great food if you want to reduce the desire for food and build some muscles.
Dates are a perfect snack that will provide enough energy for the rest of the day and are rich with different nutrients.
Nibbling raisins controls hunger and promotes satiety. This way prevents excessive calorie intake and increases satiety.
As I said, the preparation of these energy bars is very simple. Put same quantities of all three ingredients in a blender and turn it on for about 30 seconds (or as much as you need to form a well-mixed paste). Then pour the mixture on plastic foil and make any shapes you want (cubes, bars, etc). Put the shapes in the refrigerator and don’t worry, they can last for about 2 weeks.
