Morning Detox Tea Recipes for Healthy Body and Glowing Skin

Detox is the best way to clean our entire system. Our body accumulates a lot of toxins, thanks to junk food, water, unhealthy foods, fat, etc.

Eliminating toxins from our body has never been so easy, a drink a day can literally make us beautiful not only from within, but outwards as well. A clear skin, without marks and pimples is the dream of all the girls. All this can be achieved if you detoxify your body. So if you want to have a shiny skin and healthy body then I will tell you some detoxification recipes, from which you can select your favorite and include it in your daily life.

Green Tea Spiced Tonic

What happens when you mix green tea with spices that have proven to have several health benefits? You get a tonic that can be used whenever you feel a cold coming on, or any other time when you want to flood the body with nutrients. Turmeric has antioxidants and acts as an anti-inflammatory, and cinnamon has been shown to help with blood sugar levels.

What You Need:

  • 1 bag Green Tea
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 8 ounces Purified Water, near boiling

Add the spices and teabag into your teacup and pour in the hot water for your tea. Steep the tea as directed on the box. Remove the teabag and stir until the spices are fully dissolved. You can experiment with different healing spices until you find a blend that you like. Consider cayenne pepper for a spicy green tea that can rev up your metabolism. Lemon and Ginger Tea

Ginger is known for it’s potential stomach calming and inflammation reducing qualities, thus the quieting of the fluttery stomach, and lemon is healthful for so many things, like helping achieve a pH balance, Vitamin C and liver health. So this simple tea packs a wallop of goodness, along with no added preservatives or junk. It’s a win win win!

This Lemon Ginger Tea can be served warm, sweetened to your preference with a little honey, or pour over a tall glass of crushed ice for a refreshing, crisp drink. Go ahead and stock up on more fresh ginger root and lemons. I think you’ll be making this again and again once you experience how easy and how satisfying it really is.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 2-inch piece ginger root, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced

DIRECTIONS:

  • Remove boiling water from heat. Add sliced ginger and lemon to hot water.
  • Allow to steep for about 20 minutes. Strain. Serve warm or cold. Add honey if desired.

Turmeric Tea, a powerful liver cleansing tonic

Did you know that drinking lemon-ginger-turmeric tea is a healthy, natural way to detoxify your liver and boost your immunity?

While this tea will help detoxify your liver, you should also consider avoiding certain foods in order to protect your liver. Try to reduce your intake of sugar and sodium. A high consumption of sodium or sugar can put a lot of stress on the liver, making it work harder than it should.
The same is true with fats. Try to ensure that your total fat intake is less than 30 percent of your total calories for the day. Cutting back on sugar, sodium, and fats will help prevent the build-up of toxins that required you to detoxify your liver in the first place.

Making your own lemon ginger turmeric tea will naturally cleanse and detoxify your liver. Use the following recipe to make this healthy tea. If possible, try to find fresh turmeric root.

Ingredients:

  • 1½ cups of filtered drinking water
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh grated turmeric root (or ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder)
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh grated ginger root (or ½ teaspoon of ginger powder)
  • ½ a lemon (juiced with peel)
  • 2 to 3 twists of fresh black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of raw honey or to desired taste

Directions for Making Your Liver Detox Tea

To make your tea, combine the turmeric, ginger, and the filtered water in a saucepan. Turn the heat to medium-high and simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes. Do not let the mixture come to a boil. Strain the hot liquid and pour into a cup or mug. Stir in the lemon juice and honey. Your tea is now ready to drink.
