Bloating increases the diameter of the abdominal area, which is a condition that actually affects millions of people worldwide.
Every person can experience this kind of problem at some point in their lives. A bloated stomach can interfere with the ability of the individual to participate in recreational and social activities, and with its ability to work.
There are numerous symptoms of bloating, and they can sometimes be extremely hard to detect. Most of the individuals that are, or have suffered from bloating, describe it as an uncomfortable feeling of tightness, fullness, gurgles and abdominal rumbling. In most of the cases, the bloated stomach can be caused as a result of unhealthy habits that we consciously make all the time.
Always properly digest your food
When the food is not properly digested, it can lead to intestinal gas. If you are glucose or lactose intolerance, you will most probably have a problem with the digestion. This will result in discomfort.
Also, if your stomach does not contain the internal bacteria that is necessary to maintain the healthy balance of the body, it will lead to digestion problems. This condition can be caused by poorly absorbed carbohydrates, the excessive consummation of medications and antibiotics and by an unhealthy diet.
You need to avoid foods that can cause bloating and gas

Some of the foods that can cause bloating, gases and acid reflux are:
- Dairy products
- Whole grains
You need to avoid the habits that can lead to acid reflux, bloating and gas
There are some people that do not brush their teeth and they use chewing gums instead. But, this can lead to gasses, in the long run, not to mention that it can significantly worsen the oral health.
Also, there are some sodas and carbonated drinks that increase the air content in your intestines. Smokers are inhaling more gases which can also lead to higher amounts of air in the intestines, which will lead to bloating, gases and digestive discomfort.
If the gasses are persistent and they do not go away, you need to visit your doctor.
