Having dark circles under and around your eyes can be very frustrating, and they mostly appear because of fatigue.
What this means, is that in order to avoid them you need to get at least eight hours of sleep. But this is not a hundred percent effective method because the dark circles can appear because of allergies and genetics. Today, we are going to show you how to clear your skin and remove them in a way that is completely natural.
- Cucumber compress
Cucumbers are packed with antioxidants that can soothe your skin and give it a healthy glow. You need to take cucumber slices, place them in your fridge for 30 minutes and then apply them under your eyes. Leave them there for 15 minutes and then wash your face with cool water.
- Sweet almond oil
This is an oil that will moisturize your skin, and it will reduce the swelling. You need to apply just a couple of drops under your eyes, and then gently massage the area. Do this before going to sleep at night.
Massages can be quite helpful, and this fact applies to this problem as well. You need to massage the area from your temples to the nasal bridge very gently, for a couple of minutes, and it will improve your blood flow. At the end, apply a moisturizing eye cream, which will moisturize your skin and ultimately, remove dark circles.
- Tomato juice
Tomatoes are packed with an antioxidant that is known as lycopene, which will tone and tighten your skin. You need to apply the tomato juice under your eyes and leave it there for ten minutes. Then you will need to wash it with cool water.
- Potato juice
Potatoes are packed with vitamin C, which will whiten and rejuvenate your skin. Take one potato, grate it, squeeze the juice out of it and then take two cotton pads and dip them in the juice. Put the cotton pads under your eyes and leave them to work their magic for ten minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water afterward.
- Herbal ice cubes
The ice will tighten your skin and it will make it more elastic. This will smooth out the wrinkles and it will also reduce the swelling. In order to achieve better results, you can freeze an herbal brew into ice cubes.
To prepare the mixture, you need to take one teaspoon of cornflowers, parsley, sage leaves and chamomile flowers for every 200 milliliters of water. Then pour boiling water over the mix and leave it for two hours. When the mixture cools down, pour it into ice molds and place the molds in your freezer. Then you can rub the ice cubes around your eyes for 30 seconds every morning.
- Tea compress
Tea is packed with antioxidants, caffeine, and tannins, which have the ability to reduce the dark circles. You can prepare a cup of black or green tea, leave it to cool down and then soak two cotton pads in it. Then, take the pads and apply them under your eyes. Leave them there for 15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water.
